COORDS
Geodetic Coordinate Transformation

COORDS allows the interactive or file input of geographical, cartesian or UTM coordinates. The software then converts between coordinate types within one frame of reference and transforms from one reference frame to another based on a set of conformal transformation parameters specified by the user.
 
There are two download options :
 

1. Student Coords (msi only) (WinZip file; 1.3 Mb)
 
  • Use this option if your computer has Windows Installer 2.0 already installed
  • This will be the case for most computers running NT4 (Service Pack 6), Windows 2000 or XP
  • After downloading, extract files from the WinZip archive
  • Double click Student Coords.msi to intall software
 
2. Student Coords (full installation) (WinZip file; 4.8 Mb)
 
  • Use this option if your computer does not have Windows Installer 2.0 installed
  • This will be the case for most computers running Windows 95/98
  • After downloading, extract files from WinZip archive
  • Double click setup.exe to install software
 
Notes
 
  • If you select Option 1 and the installation fails due to the absence of Windows Installer on your computer, simply return to this page and choose Option 2
