Master of Engineering (Geomatics)
The professional Master of Engineering has been developed with three types of students in mind:
- students articulating from New Generation Bachelor of Environments or Bachelor of Science degrees at the University of Melbourne, with a major or sequence in software systems;
- engineering graduates without internationally recognised professional accreditation; and
- non-engineering graduates with an appropriate maths and science background who want to study and
qualify as a professionally accredited engineer.

Note on Engineering Electives:
Any Engineering Elective requires the approval of the Geomatics Course Coordinator.
Credits:
Any subjects or equivalents already taken in an UG degree would not need to be replaced.
Additional Notes:
* The 3YME program incorporates all core subjects from the provisionally accredited 3YB+2YME program.
* The elective content of the 3YB+2YME program is effectively covered by the student's first degree.
