GDAit (GDA94 InTerpolation) is software that can be used to transform coordinates from the current Australian Geodetic Datum (ADG66/84) to the new Geocentric Datum of Australia (GDA94).  It was developed on behalf of Land Victoria by the Department of Geomatics at the University of Melbourne.

Note:

• GDAit requires a file of shift values (referred to as an NTv2 Grid Shift File) for the region in which you wish to transform coordinates.  Two such files can be downloaded from the GDA94 technical manual produced by the Intergovernmental Committee on Surveying and Mapping (ICSM).
• Version 2.0 of GDAit was released on 27/4/2000 and makes GDAit fully compatible with the Canadian NTv2 standard (earlier versions are only compatible with the ASCII form of the standard).

GDAit release history:
 - Version 2.0 (27/4/00): full compatability with NTv2 file format.
 - Version 2.01 (23/8/00): corrects a minor bug in the output of coordinates in HP format.
 - Version 2.02 (18/10/01): corrects a bug when computing transformation accuracy if some nodes are null (conformal only).
