This section is intended to help the user understand the basic principles of how Electromagnetic Distance Measurement instruments work, and thus how an instrument can be tested and calibrated if necessary.

The program is designed so that only the basic principles of EDM design are displayed. As a result, some of the illustrations throughout this section may not be technically correct, but aim to provide a basic understanding of the subject matter.

Choose from the menu on the left to find out more about EDM.
