Annual Geomatics Industry Dinner (aka Geo Ball) Thursday, 7pm onwards, 10th September (Week 7)

The Geomatics Ball is one of style and glamour, with all the Geos out to impress in their finest attire. This event has something for everyone; you have the chance to network with industry members, recognise the academic achievements of your fellow Geos as well as have a dance later on in the night. A ticket to the night includes a 3 COURSE MEAL, BEER, WINE, SPIRITS and SOFT DRINKS as well as entry and transport to the AFTER PARTY. All this costs only $70 for MUGS members and $75 for non-members. This year we will be farewelling Gary Hunter, who has been an amazing contributor to MUGS since his time as a MUGS Secretary in 1981! Make sure you don't miss out this year, as everyone will be talking about it! Bring a mate or come alone and you'll be welcomed either way!

Held at the San Remo Ballroom, Nicholson St, Carlton.

Geo Ball After Party
Some argue it's bigger than the event itself. This year the After Party will be one to remember - and for the right reasons (not because it's reggae night!)

MUGS vs. GSSA Rivalry Match
Week 8 The rivalry between MUGS and their RMIT counterparts GSSA dates back to 1979. The rivalry looks to be renewed over a soccer match, with a BBQ afterwards and possibly a few drinks at the pub after that! The GSSA Prez has called it a 'Grudge' match, but we have nothing to hold a grudge against them considering how much better we are!
