Excel Template

This Excel spreadsheet template is provided as a starting point for the spreadsheet exercise on spherical trigonometry. The spreadsheet is available here and is an Excel version 97/5.0 file which can be read by any recent version of Excel.

Excel is available in the majority of Open Access laboratories on campus and all PC laboratories in Engineering Computer Resources. The web browser should either open this file automatically using Excel or prompt you to download (save to disk) or open the file. Do not attempt to install any software on any of these systems! If Excel is not available or does not open the document then contact the Help Desk for the laboratory.

If you have Excel installed on your own system at home or elsewhere your web browser should either open this file automatically or prompt you to download (save to disk) or open the file. If you do not have Excel installed on your own system then you should download (save to disk) the file and transfer it to a system that does have Excel installed.
