Biography
Christian completed his first degree in Physics at the University of Hamburg, Germany. He recently finished his PhD in Geophysics at the University of Wellington, New Zealand. During his research in Wellington, he was developing innovative approaches to combine data from earthquake records and mapped, active faults for the generation of earthquake occurrence models. These models are now being used to estimate earthquake hazard in New Zealand by the Earthquake Commission of New Zealand. In his spare time, he has become involved in improving the virtual landscape of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000, and has been working together with GeographX Ltd.
