Saeid Mohsen Kalantari Soltaneih passed university entrance examination 1997 in Iran and started the bachelor of Surveying Engineering at KNT University of Technology in Tehran . During his studies he was the executive secretary of Geodesy and Geomatics Student Scientific Society (GGSSS). He completed the Bachelor degree in 2001. He passed the postgraduates entrance examination and because of his maximum score he was exempted of military service.
Mohsen started a Master of GIS engineering at KNT University of Technology. During his M.Sc. studies, he was involved in various research projects in Geodesy and Geomatics Research centre at KNT University of Technology like: Developing a Web based GIS for Iranian Roads Information, Feasibility Studies about technical and economical aspects of aggregate zoning for using Asphalt, Base Course, Sub base, Ballast and Concrete, Design and Implementation of a National Spatial Data Transfer Standard. His thesis in Iran involved in Design and implementation of a Distributed GIServices based on Intelligent Agent Technology. During his final year of M.Sc., Mohsen worked as a teaching assistant in the GIS department and he was involved in tutoring GIS students.
After finishing his Master in10-feb-06(Geomatics9-feb-06During his employment he was involved in various projects like: Design and Implementation of Zanjan Management and Planing Organization GIS, Design and Implementation of Iran Urban Planning Research Centre GIS, Design and Implementation of Iran Rain GIS software and Production of Persian Gulf Pollution map due to Gulf War.
In 2004, Mohsen commenced his PhD studies at the University of Melbourne . |
