Teaching: Land Administration (with Professor Ian Williamson)

Research: Frameworks for institutional, legal and technological reforms in land administration to deliver sustinable development.

Lisa Ting, has a law degree, an arts degree (majoring in psychology and politics) and undertook her Master of Laws (focusing on international law and dispute resolution) while in private practice with a major Melbourne legal firm. She was then employed on a project that produced a cultural diversity policy for the University of Melbourne. At the invitation of Professor Ian Williamson, she joined the Department of Geomatics as a PhD candidate funded by Land Victoria and now as an Australian Research Council postgraduate award recipient. Lisa is also the inaugural Director of the Australia-Indonesia Legal Development Foundation that was launched in 1995 under the patronage of The Hon Justice Michael Kirby AC CMG of the High Court.
