CoursesStarting Uni in 2008 or beyond:From 2008 the University will introduce a landmark educational reform known as the 'Melbourne Model'. It is designed to create an outstanding and distinctive Melbourne Experience for all students. Find out more about the Melbourne Model and what it means for Geomatics and Engineering here. This means that from 2008 there will be a variety of pathways to a career in Geomatics offering you the flexibility to choose a course that is right for you. See the course diagram on the Melbourne School of Engineering website for pathways.
Note: Bachelor of Commerce students need to enrol in a specified sequence of Engineering subjects that will lead to the professional Master of Engineering
Starting Uni before 2008:An undergraduate degree is offered through the Department of Geomatics. It is also possible to do combined degrees, to undertake single subjects through the Community Access Program (CAP) or to undertake a Diploma of GIS.
